We play as a professional eater who thinks they entered to compete in a burger eating contest. Soon after entering the restaurant, we find out that things are not as they seem. It appears that no one else has entered this competition and the building appears to be mostly empty. That is until we run into Jollibae.
After we explore for a bit, we find ourselves in a chase sequence. Most players probably breeze through this part as the common play time is about 10-15 minutes for the entire game. If you're like me, you probably will mess up the sequence multiple times until finally figuring out the correct pattern. Then, spend a couple more minutes trying to figure out how to successfully complete the button sequence without getting caught. I know some people don't like to be pulled out of the immersion of games when repeating sections. Personally, I like when it happens occasionally. It helps me get used to the jump scares so I can focus more on the game. Probably not the most logical reasoning when I chose to play a horror game, but these are just my thoughts and opinions.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes horror games. I enjoy being able to explore around and find notes that give creepy backstories, and the chase sequence was pretty fun aside from having to repeat it multiple times. That however is a case of "operator error" as my mom says. This game is currently available for download on itch io if you are interested in checking it out and showing support for an indie game developer.
