Indigo Park (Chapter 1)

In this indie horror game, we decide to explore our favorite childhood theme park. It is now abandoned and run down, but that doesn't stop us from finding a way inside! What could possibly go wrong when entering an old creepy theme park alone in the middle of the night? Throughout the night, we encounter several characters, some jump scares and explore the park with the park's abandoned A.I. system and favorite Raccoon, Rambley.

The game developers did a very good job at creating a creepy location that also has a good mix of horror, comedy and cute characters/items all in one chapter. Any game with animals for the main characters will most likely lead to people comparing it to FNAF, but I think this game does a great job at separating itself from that comparison. It has its own completely different backstory that keeps you entertained and constantly questioning what's going on with this park.

Like most horror games, Indigo Park also has several chase sequences. Unlike most horror games, I really enjoyed how they were set up. I may have had to retry them more than once, but that is just a lack of skill on my part when playing pc. I also really enjoyed the collectable aspect of the game. As you progress throughout the game, keep an eye out for any collectables with cute/silly descriptions and anything else that might help us in finding out what horrific accident took place before the park shut down.
If you haven't already, I am begging you to check this game out. I really enjoyed playing through the first chapter. It is a fairly new game so there aren't any more chapters out yet, but you can keep up with any game development updates on the YouTube Channel Unique Geese. You can also check out my playthrough here! You can definitely tell the game developers enjoyed creating Indigo Park and have put a lot of thought, time and energy into the development. The first chapter is available to play for free on steam. I highly recommend you check out this game. I ended up missing a collectable so I will most likely be going back to replay it before the next chapter becomes available for purchase. This game has so much potential. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
