In Close to the Sun, we play as Rose who is searching for her sister aboard the Helios. What could possibly go wrong on the "haven for the greatest scientific minds?' This game has a mix of horror, gore and puzzle solving as the story progresses.
For some reason, this game kept reminding me of Bioshock Infinite. I haven't played the game in years but for some reason it kept popping into my mind. Similar to Bioshock Infinite, everything seems perfect aboard this ship at first until we slowly discover the truth that awaits us.
This is also a game with many collectables that allow you to learn even more about the history of the ship and what has been going on. There is so much to discover as you play through this game. It did a great job at being creepy and also managed to pull at my heartstrings a bit. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I played through.
I 1000% recommend this game to anyone who thinks they might be interested in playing it. I think it took me around 5 hours to complete this, but I also like to look around a lot in case I missed any collectables. I haven't seen anything online, but I would love to play either a sequel to this game or a second game building off of the original. It seems like they left the game open to a continuation.
